Before the start of your lessons

Activate your Pace email address

Follow these steps to activate your credentials:

If you are having difficulty accessing your Pace account or email, contact ITS at (914) 773-3333 or pacehelpdesk@pace.edu.

Go to your Pace email account

  • Go to your Pace email account on Outlook Web App (Exchange).
  • Check your Pace inbox at the top of your Pace portal home page for any emails from your instructors before classes start. All official university communications will be sent to your pace.edu email address, so we encourage you to check it at least once a day.

Placement test (GED students ONLY)

GED students are required to take a placement test in Mathematics and English before enrollment. Placement tests can be taken online.

Pay your tuition fees

Payment for the January 2022 session is due December 13 and for Spring 2022 is due January 6. Payments for registrations processed after these dates are due immediately. Payments can be made by online check or by credit card through the payment portal. If you want to pay in monthly installments, you must register through the payment portal. Please visit the Pace Payment Portal to pay your tuition fees.

Review your courses on the MyPace portal

Our learning platform is Classes. The system is also known as Brightspace. Below are some useful links to learn more. After activating your account, you can access your classroom by going to classes.pace.edu.

Parking permit

If you plan to park on our Westchester campus, you will need to obtain a parking permit. More information on parking permits.

Get your Pace ID

Students taking a course at one of Pace’s campuses must obtain a Pace ID.

  1. Upload your passport photo to your portal.
  2. Email Auxiliary Services or call (212) 346-1015 to make an appointment to get your ID.
  3. Pick up your ID at the Auxiliary Services offices in New York or Pleasantville. Be sure to bring a copy of your schedule or invoice.

Registered students taking an online course do not need an ID card.

Vaccination compliance

All students who plan to come to campus in the year 2021-2022 must be vaccinated (with allowances for religious and medical exemptions).

Vaccination records should be uploaded to the confidential University patient portal. Your CDC vaccination card serves as the official COVID-19 vaccination record, just like any other document (including an official email received after vaccination or an electronic medical record) that includes your name, date (s) of vaccination. , vaccine manufacturer and lot numbers. All immunization records submitted must be in English. Students on campus are required to upload an immunization record.

After earning 25 credits as a visiting student, you must apply for admission to a degree program and be accepted before further enrollment is allowed. For more information on how to apply for enrollment, send an email to the Visiting Students Office.
