Terry named Vice President of Student Services at CFCC

Cape Fear Community College officials have hired Sabrina Terry as the college’s new vice president of student services and enrollment management, according to a news release.

Terry was previously Dean of Student Services at Surry Community College in Dobson.

Terry became interested in student services in 2002 when she worked as a co-op student and part-time enrollment services employee at Virginia Highlands Community College in Abingdon, Virginia.

She came out of the community college system, having earned an associate degree in education. Terry continued her education as a transfer student and earned an undergraduate degree in communications from Old Dominion University and a graduate degree in higher education administration with a major in enrollment management from Old Dominion University. Capella University, the statement said.

Terry also holds a professional certification from Ruffalo Noel-Levitz in Enrollment Management and is a member of the North Carolina Community College Strategic Enrollment Management Committee and the Capella Community College Advisory Committee.

“Ms. Terry brings a wealth of experience to this important role at the college. She is a respected leader in student services across the state and region. We are fortunate to have her at Cape Fear Community College,” said CFCC President Jim Morton in the statement.
