Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) announces the search for a Vice President for Student Services. This senior college executive will provide leadership and oversight for the college’s comprehensive set of student services programs that are designed to improve student access and success. The College seeks an experienced leader who is culturally competent and deeply committed to serving and supporting students, especially historically underserved, first-generation, low-income, and non-traditional students, with a collaborative growth mindset and progressive.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and visionary leader with strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work collaboratively across divisions and with diverse constituency groups, knowledge and experience of federal and state regulatory requirements impacting business female students, and a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. They will be members of the President’s Cabinet and will play a critical leadership role in the college’s ongoing work toward its strategic priorities, including but not limited to: student support, teaching and learning, enhancement people and
institutional consciousness.

Interested candidates should possess a Master’s degree, preferably a Ph.D. Candidates must also have substantial and successful leadership, administrative and supervisory experience. They will have demonstrated success in collaboration, strategic planning, extracurricular assessment, as well as advocating for an equitable learning environment.

Founded in 1967, LLCC serves residents and businesses in a 15-county district with its main campus in Springfield, Illinois’ capital. It is the largest community college district in Illinois by land mass, covering all or part of 15 central Illinois counties and 4,115 square miles. In addition to our main campus, LLCC provides educational services in our medical district located in downtown Springfield, Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport, and our district outreach centers located in Taylorville, Jacksonville, Beardstown, Litchfield, and Hillsboro. , Ill. Springfield is located between Chicago and St. Louis and is home to the Presidential Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum as well as many historical sites and cultural events.

LLCC offers more than 125 degree and certificate programs and serves approximately 11,150 people each year through both credit and non-credit courses. Students can find help with their studies through one of our many support programs and services that are available face-to-face and virtually. With 19 student clubs on campus, our students have many opportunities to get involved and connect with other students. Our sports offerings include baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, and esports.

As an administrator at LLCC, you can expect 22 paid vacations per year, including 2 weeks at the end of the calendar year and one week in March for mid-semester holidays; 12 Fridays off in summer; and 2 personal days, 15 sick days and 20 vacation days per year.
